Dear Editor,

Yes, I believe in the total abolishment of corporal punishment in our schools.

But I wonder sometimes what will happen to our school system if a short term process is not introduced to deal with disruptive students.

I have seen situations where 30 students could not be taught because the poor teacher had to spend almost the whole session trying to manage two disorderly students, who refused to be motivated to learn though the teacher used the best class management and class control techniques.

I guess the teacher is to be blamed! The student is never wrong!

Yours faithfully,
