Cooper wins Ice Palace/De Abreu's creations golf tournament

Country Manager of Scotiabank, Ian Cooper, emerged victorious ahead of twenty eight golfers on Saturday to win the Ice Palace/De Abreu's Creations golf tournament at the Lusignan Golf Course.

Cooper, with a 20 handicap, finished with a net 61, three shots better than Brian Glasford (net 64, handicap 19) and five in front of Fazil Hanif (net 66, handicap 12).

The sponsors also decided to award the fourth and fifth finishers, Esau Shamshudin (net 66, handicap 17) and Raj Sankar (net 68, handicap seven).

Sankar's 75 won him the best gross prize. The longest drive was won by Hanif, while the closest to the pin was won by Nazeen Khan.
