The results of the last session were in mixed territory with one stock posting a hefty price increase, one traded flat, others took a dive right at the open, but stayed well off their lows and one bounced back solidly late in the morning.

Session 65 trading results showed a consideration of $2,763,533 from 185,762 shares traded compared to the previous week's result of 69,217 shares at a total consideration of $336,098. Six (6) stocks were active this week namely BTI, DDL, DIH, DTC, GSI and NBI.

DIH stocks traded flat at $4.6, same price as the previous close but represented 49% of the shares traded. Trades in DIH involved 91,016 and contributed $418,673.6 (15.1%) to the total consideration. For DDL, 29,558 shares changed hands at a Mean Weighted Average Price, MWAP of $7.3, $0.60 down from the previous week. The DIH shares traded, represented 15.9 % of total shares and 7.8% of the total consideration ($215,773.4).

Guyana Stockfeeds, GSI marked its sixth (6th) trade with stocks changing hands at $14.9, reflective of a price surge of 14.6% or $1.90 compared to the previous close of $13.0. The 3,254 GSI shares traded, represented 1.8 % of total shares and 1.8% of the total consideration ($48,484.6).

Trading in BTI shares accounted for 13% of the consideration and 24.5 % of the consideration. For the local bank, 24,123 shares were traded at $28.1, down $1.90 from the previous session and contributed $677,856.30 to the total consideration.

Meanwhile, trading in DTC involved 5,847 (3.1 %) shares, which took a stumble and fell to $170, but a strong recovery saw trading at $178 before the end of the session and posted $1,028,766 (37.2%) to the total consideration trading at a Mean Weighted Average Price, MWAP of $176, $4.0 down from Session 63.

Finally, two trades in NBI involved 31,964 shares (17.2%) shares, which were traded at a Mean Weighted Average Price, MWAP of $11. 7, down $0.10 from the previous close and contributed $373,979 (13.5%) to the total consideration.
