A group calling itself 'Destiny All Stars Steel and Brass Orchestra' is a new and exciting addition to the musical landscape of Guyana, according to the band's manager, Wayne Orderson.

In a recent press release, Orderson said that captain of the band, Brian 'Pazzi' Allen is extremely optimistic that his group will revive the type of interest that was synonymous with steel pan music in Guyana in years gone by, even becoming country ambassadors of pan on overseas visits.

The band is housed at the Camptown Community Centre in the Campbellville area, once the home of the renowned Chronicle Atlantic Symphony Orchestra (CASSBO). The legendary pan tuner Calvin Whyte is with the band and US-based Rudy Bishop whose success and acclaim with CASSBO is widely known is an associate and advisor to the group. Mayor of Georgetown Hamilton Greene is patron of the band.
