Boy, 13, hangs self at Wismar

A 13-year-old boy hanged himself at around 17:40 hrs yesterday, at Blue Berry Hill, Wismar.
Reports said that Orwin Blair, a student from Wisburg Secondary, was found in his bedroom hanging from a beam by a bed sheet.
Reports out of Wismar said that Blair and three other siblings were at home at the time. Their mother, a domestic worker, had left for work at around 11:00 hrs.
According to reports, the children had gone to visit their grandmother, who lives in the same yard, when Orin indicated that he was going home to watch the six o’clock news.
Ten minutes later, his sister also went home and found him dead in his bedroom.
No motive has been given for the suicide.
