DEBRA Douglas, the woman in the trio charged with the murder of self- confessed so-called death squad informant George Bacchus, was further remanded to prison last Friday.

Magistrate Kumar Doraisami, before whom she was taken at New Amsterdam Court in Berbice, signed the committal warrant for the part owner of A&D Funeral Parlour in Georgetown to remain incarcerated until Friday, July 16.

Douglas is jointly accused, with Delon ‘Fat Boy’ Reynols, a handyman and her nephew, Fabian ‘Fabie’ Jessop, for whom an arrest warrant is still out, of unlawfully killing Bacchus at his Princes Street home in the city last June 24.

The case will be called again before Chief Magistrate Juliet Holder-Allen on July 22.
