LONDON - (CMC )West Indies players Carl Hooper and Gareth Breese enjoyed victories with their teams in England's National League limited-over matches on Sunday.

Hooper's Lancashire comfortably defeated Hampshire by seven wickets, and Durham, with Breese, registered a 94-run victory over Worcestershire.

At Old Trafford, Hampshire struggled to 189 for nine off 45 overs, with medium pacer Sajid Mahmood leading the way for Lancashire with three for 40 off nine overs.

Guyanese Hooper picked up one for 30 off six overs with his offspin. Lancashire replied with 192 for three off only 31.5 overs, with Australian Stuart Law (83 not out) and Mark Chilton (58) setting up the win.

Hooper, who stroked an even hundred for Lancashire to win the Championship League game between the two teams on Saturday, was 17 not out at the end.

At Worcester's New Road Ground, Durham piled up a formidable 319 for three off their 45 overs, behind solid hundreds from Australian Markus North (110) and England Test player Paul Collingwood (102 not out). Worcestershire replied with 225 for eight off their 45 overs.

Breese, who hit an unbeaten 165 of 224 balls in propelling Durham to their Championship League win over Worcesterhire on Saturday, had no success with the ball.

The Jamaica captain ended with figures of none for 53 off nine overs. In another game, Barbadian ex-Test player Otis Gibson picked up two for 27 off seven overs for Leicestershire as they slipped to a 43-run loss to Nottinghamshire
