A regional art exhibition featuring the work of students from around the Caribbean will be held from tomorrow to Friday in Georgetown.

The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) and the Ministry of Education will jointly host the exhibition at the National Centre for Education Resource Development (NCERD) in Kingston.

The exhibition aims to highlight the creative work of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Visual Arts students, and to expose potential CSEC Visual Arts students to the standard they are expected to achieve.

The exhibition will feature the work of students who took the CXC Visual Arts examination over the last three years. Among the exhibits will be pieces that have won the prestigious Regional Top Award for two and three-dimensional art.

The exhibition will include categories of Graphic Design, Decorative Craft, Surface Decoration, Drawing, Print Making, Imaginative Composition, Leather Craft and Fibre Art.
