Despite some difficult flag positions on very fast greens, a very focused Patrick Prashad shot a gross 75, handicap 7 for a net 68 to win the Courtney Benn Contracting Services Ltd-sponsored Golf Tournament at the Lusignan Golf Course on Saturday.

According to a Lusignan Golf Club release, Prashad won on a count back from Melissa Humphrey who had a gross 103, handicap 35 and a net 68.

Hilbert Shields placed third with a gross 80, handicap 11 and net 69.

The longest drive was won by Alfred Mentore who had a colossal 313 yards tee shot on the eleventh hole, which is the stroke index 2 and plays into the wind.

The closest to the pin prize was won by Esau Shamsudeen who had his tee shot, on the par 3, 210 yards fifteenth hole, stop some ten feet from the pin.

Lusignan Golf Club's vice-president Colin Ming who presented the prizes to the respective winners on behalf of Courtney Benn, expressed the club's gratitude to the sponsor.
