TWO more persons who have run foul of the law in the United States have been returned here after completing jail sentences.

They are Sean Kendall, 31, of Lot 45 West La Penitence, Housing Scheme, Georgetown and Clive Sobers, 22, of 41 New Road Vreed-en-Hoop, West Coast Demerara.

According to a Police release, Kendall, who was deported on May 25, 2003 from the U.S. for possession of narcotics, departed Guyana legally on May 20, 1990 for that country.

On November 3, 2003 he was arrested, charged, placed before the Court and sentenced to seven days' imprisonment. On completion of the sentence he was released into the custody of Immigration until he was deported.

Sobers, the release stated, left Guyana legally for the U.S. in 1982; he was arrested in July 1999 and charged with robbery.

On his appearance in Court he was sentenced to a five-year prison term and on completion of the sentence was released into Immigration custody until his deportation.
