I wish to add my voice to the growing number of Guyanese who have roundly condemned the conduct of Mr. Reeaz Khan in relation to his "affair" with a thirteen year old girl as reported in your newspaper.

I recall there was a previous problem with an employee and the question of chicken bones. There was also a run in with City Hall for breach of building regulations.

I understand that Mr. Khan is a member of the Peter's Hall Mosque. I have heard nothing from CIOG on this matter.

Finally, I pray that God gives the mother, family and the young girl the spiritual strength to deal with and to overcome this most unfortunate situation.
