Guyana Goldfield to start drilling at Aurora

Guyana Goldfield Inc has set up a 50-man camp with all the necessary equipment to commence a 10,000-metre drilling programme at Aurora on the Cuyuni River, according to a company release.

Three areas in Aurora were selected for immediate drilling by the Canadian company and current exploration continues to prioritize other drill targets on the Aurora property. Underground sampling of various historical exploration tunnels is ongoing.

Since 1996 the company has held advanced exploration projects in various stages of development.

Guyana Goldfields Inc is a mineral exploration company which primarily focuses on the exploration and development of gold deposits in the Guiana Shield of South America. The Guiana Shield is in the northern part of the Amazon and covers parts of Guyana, Venezuela, Suriname, French Guiana and northern Brazil.
