Police yesterday said that the four men who were apprehended on Tuesday in Albouystown in a car after a police patrol observed them acting in a suspicious manner, will be charged with being in possession of unlicensed firearms.

After carrying out a search on the men, who were in motorcar PJJ 779, the police found that two of them had the unlicensed weapons in their possession.

A release from the police had stated that the men were apprehended around 7.05 am and a search carried out resulted in the seizure of a .357 Magnum revolver with six live rounds and a .32 Taurus pistol with three live rounds. The two weapons were found on two of the men but a police source said all four would be charged.
