A lawsuit claiming damages in excess of $25M for alleged libel has been filed against television personality and owner of CNS Channel Six, Chandra Narine Sharma.

The plaintiff, Poonaswar Dookie, in a supporting affidavit alleges the libel was broadcast on January 5 and 8 on the programmes "Voice of the People" and "Rapping with the Public" and aired on CNS 6.
