Guyana adventure package makes newspaper's Top Ten

The English newspaper, the Independent, has chosen Guyana as the second most exciting destination in a "Top Ten Outdoor Pursuits". According to a release from Wilderness Explorers the three day/two night adventure is on a fully crewed yacht and cruises through the Caribbean Sea and then along the Atlantic coast of South America before sailing up the Essequibo River to Shanklands Rainforest Resort.
The adventure through Guyana includes a stop at Kaieteur Falls, the Iwokrama Forest reserve and Karanambo Ranch with a choice of sailing back to St. Lucia or flying onwards.
