AS the West Indies seek to redeem themselves in South Africa, cricket, fans across the Caribbean will be behind their team for the five one-day Internationals between the two teams.

And the Guyana Television Broadcasting Co. Ltd (GTV) has ensured that we in Guyana will not be left out as it will provide live television coverage of all the matches.

The first One-Day is scheduled for tomorrow, a day and night fixture at Cape Town with play beginning at 08:00 hrs (local time).

The station has recognised that viewers in the Berbice/Corentyne areas were experiencing some difficulties recently with the broadcast there.

The company is pleased to advise viewers in those areas that its engineers have managed to rectify the problems to a certain extent and as such the signals are up again.

More work however, is being done to further improve the quality of reception for those viewers.

Broadcasts in Berbice are on channels 15 (from Whim) and 12 (from Benab).
