DDL Finance Controller does executive diploma course in UK

Group Finance Controller of Demerara Distillers Limited and Subsidiaries, Loris Nathoo, recently completed an intensive three-week Executive Development Programme at Henley Management College in the United Kingdom.

The programme focused on creating business vision and developing and implementing market-focused business strategy, and Nathoo was the only participant from Latin America and the Caribbean, a news release from DDL said.

Also attending the programme were executives from the Ford Motor Company, Cable and Wireless, Xerox, local governments, Sain-sbury's and ISS Facilities Management in the UK, North America, Asia, Europe and Australia.

The release noted that Henley is considered a world class provider of management training, and it offers a variety of MBAs on full or part-time basis as well as executive development courses.

Nathoo joined the DDL Group in 1994, and as Finance Controller he is in the forefront of the company's business operations, both locally and overseas, the release added.
