Guyanese world rated female boxer Glwendolyn `The Stealth Bomber' O'Neil moved a step closer to establishing herself as the best woman light heavyweight in the world when she her last bout by a TKO.

O'Neil took just three rounds to get rid of Trinidadian Crystal Lassie on Saturday night in Barbados. The fight was the main supporting bout on a card which had Barbadian Christopher `Shaka' Henry in the main event.

Reports reaching Stabroek Sport stated that the Guyanese controlled the scheduled six-round bout until the abbreviated end which came about after Lassie's corner threw in the towel early in the third round.

O'Neil, rated in the top three by the WIBA, was the second Guyanese to defeat Lassie in less than a month. Earlier this month 300-plus pound `Dynamite' Shondell Parks won a decision over the Trinidadian at the MSC ground in Linden.

The win, the second this year for O'Neil, improved her record to 10 victories with three defeats. She is scheduled to return to the ring on December 26th at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on a card being promoted by the Guyana Boxing Board of Control.

Saturday night proved a good night for Guyana as bantamweight Stephanie `Stepping Razor' George won a unanimous decision over Trinidadian Manaka Assoon in a four-round catchweight contest on the same card.

The 23-year-old George who was entering the ring for the first time this year, said that the fight was expected to be in the bantamweight division but her opponent weighed in at 132 pounds to her 115.

"I was already there so I decided to go with it anyway," George said.

George will return to the ring on December 26 to meet with Shondell Alfred for the bantamweight title of Guyana.

Alfred is the only person to defeat George in her six fight career.
