Some six months and a declared eighteen thousand hits later, www.motorsportsguyana.com continues to give Guyanese at home and abroad a chance to keep up to date with motor racing across the Caribbean.

The website developer and owner Bryan Mackintosh, a former grasstrack racer and one of the Caribbean’s top motor racing announcers, said that plans are now afoot to make the site even more informative.

Mackintosh told Stabroek Sport that serious time was dedicated towards the development of this website, which is updated the very night of any race meeting held here in Guyana.

Motorsportsguyana.com’s wide range of motor racing topics includes action from the grasstrack scene, drag-racing events, South Dakota races with photos from the 60’s to present day and also the cars and bikes shows held annually in Guyana.

The aim of the website according to Mackintosh is to pay tribute to the Superstars and Daredevils, who have brought us the spills and thrills over the last 50 years of motor racing in Guyana.

According to Mackintosh, the website recently launched its line of sportswear, which includes the Motorsports Guyana jerseys and caps. Mackintosh extended gratitude to Williams Industries of Barbados, Kojac Marketing Agency, Ricks & Sari and Andrew Arts Quick Signs for contributing to the website’s success.
