Trading continued to be extremely light on the stock exchange yesterday with 27,000 shares being traded for a total value of $181,412.

Banks DIH Limited had 21,705 shares traded at a price of $6.40 for a total value of $138,912.

Demerara Distillers Limited traded 1,000 of its shares at a price of $6.50 for a total value of $7,000.

For the first time, shares of Property Holdings Inc. exchanged hands since that company became eligible for trading on the exchange. This company had 3,500 shares trading for a price of $6.

Guyana Stockfeeds Inc. saw 1,000 shares traded at a price of $15.

Shares remaining on the books for the next trading session are 3,532,000 for Banks DIH Limited at a best offer (best price at which one is prepared to sell) of $6.50; 632,000 of DDL at $6.50; 141,000 of the National Bank of Industry and Commerce (NBIC) at $13; 18,000 of the Guyana Bank of Trade and Industry (GBTI) at $25; 9,000 of the Guyana Stockfeeds Inc. at $15; and 2,000 for Property Holdings Inc. at $6.

Bids of shares remaining are 620,000 of the Demerara Bank Limited at a best bid (best price one is prepared to pay) of $1.20; 100,000 of the Citizens Bank Guyana Inc. with a best bid of $10.50; 39,000 of the Demerara Tobacco Company with a best bid of $44.00; and 10,000 of Sterling Products Limited at a best bid of $15.
