A TEXTBOOKS shoplifting case will go to trial November 18, according to a Court fixture yesterday.

Acting Chief Magistrate Juliet Holder-Allen set the date after she put Karen Ford (no address given) on $7,000 bail.

The defendant had earlier pleaded not guilty to the larceny of five ‘Junior English’ texts valued $10,575.

Police said the offence was committed last Friday when Ford went into CCS store on Camp Street, Georgetown and picked up the books, which she hid under her dress.

But she was seen by a security guard and apprehended, the Court heard.
