Nine join ranks of deportees

Trevor Winston Codogan, age 33 years of Lot 1 Doctor Miller Street, Triumph, East Coast Demerara, was on 2003-09-26 deported from Trinidad for trafficking in narcotics.
Codogan departed Guyana legally on 99-01-10 for Trinidad. On arrival, he was searched and a quantity of cocaine was found on his person.
He was arrested and charged with the trafficking in narcotics.
He appeared in court and was sentenced to four to five years imprisonment. However, on completion of four years jail term he was deported to Guyana.
Narinda Seecharan, age 26 years of Number 58 Village Corentyne, Berbice was deported from the USA for assault.
Seecharan migrated Guyana legally in May 1986 for the USA and was on 97-04-01 arrested and charged with assault.
He appeared in court and was sentenced to four to eight years imprisonment.
Seecharan served five years and was released into Immigration custody and deported to Guyana on 2003-09-26.
Mohan Karat, age 33 years of 98 Tain Settlement, Corentyne, Berbice was deported to Guyana on 2003-09-25 from the USA for possession and sales of narcotics.
Karat migrated to USA legally in 1978; he appeared in court and pleaded not guilty.
After constant trials, in 1995, he was sentenced to seven years imprisonment. On completion of his sentence he was released into Immigration custody and was deported.
Samuel Bailey, age 5o years of Lot 20 West La Penitence, Housing Scheme, Georgetown was on 2003-09-24 deported from the USA for assault and illegal entry.
Bailey left Guyana legally on August 1982 for Canada subsequently he entered the USA illegally.
On 85-06-03, he was arrested and charged with assault and illegal entry.
He appeared in court and was sentenced to one to three years imprisonment.
Bailey completed two and a half years and was released.
On 2002-07-05, he was rearrested by the Immigration, detained and deported to Guyana.
Andy Alex Harry, age 44 years of Lot 531 East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was on 2003-09-24 deported from the USA for trafficking in narcotics.
Harry departed Guyana legally in January 1979 for the USA.
He was on 90-02-07 arrested and charged with the offence.
He appeared in court and was sentenced to fifteen years imprisonment; however, on completion of thirteen years he was released to the Immigration department and deported.
Rabindranauth Reddi, age 30of Lot 77 Hampshire Village, Corentyne, Berbice, was on 2003-09-27 deported from the USA for the sale of narcotics.
Reddi migrated to USA legally on 82-05-17, in 1992; he was arrested and charged with the offence.
He appeared in court and was sentenced to six months imprisonment with five years probation.
In 1995, he was again arrested and charged with the same offence.
He again appeared in court and was sentenced to six to fourteen years imprisonment.
Reddi completed six and a half years and was released in Immigration custody and deported.
Mohan Kumar Bhoje, age 34 years, of Lot 19, Line Path D Skeldon, Berbice, was deported to Guyana from the USA on 2003-09-26 for robbery under arm.
Bhjoe departed Guyana legally for the USA and on 95-11-22; he was arrested and charged with the offence.
He appeared in court and was sentenced to five to ten years imprisonment.
Bhjoe completed seven years and three months and was released into Immigration custody and later deported.
David Kurt Weeks, age 28 years of Lot 39 Norton Street, Lodge, Georgetown, was on 2003-089-27, deported to Guyana from the USA for assault.
Weeks left Guyana legally on 88-05-09.
He was arrested in May 1995 for the offence; he appeared in court and was sentenced to eight years imprisonment.
On completion, he was released into Immigration custody and deported.
Osafa Agustus Anderson, age 29 years of Lot 3063 North Ruimveldt, was on 2003-09-26 deported to Guyana from the USA for trafficking in narcotics.
Anderson migrated legally to the USA in March 1984.
On 01-04-11, he was arrested and charged with the offence. He appeared in court and was sentenced to four to nine years imprisonment.
He was sent to the Military Boot Camp where he spent six months and was handed over to the Immigration for deportation.
