Marvin Dannett came from two games down to defeat former national national player Ingram Edwards 8/10, 1/9, 9/5, 9/5, 9/6, and book his place in the under-19 final of the 2003 Woodpecker Products Junior National Squash Championships at the Georgetown Club.

Dannett who is the best player to come out of the Everest junior program thus far, was slated to meet Kristian Jeffrey in the final on Saturday evening.

Kristina King enhanced her reputation as being the most exciting junior women's player since Nicolette Fernandes with a clinical 9/1 10/8 9/4 victory over Tiffany Solomon in the girls under 19 division.

In other results:- (Under 11) Samantha Fernandes defeated Ashley DeGroot 15/2, 15/3, Alex Arjoon got past Deje Dias 15/3, 15/0, Steven Xavier brushed aside Javier Amir 15/4, 15/10, Jason Khalil defeated Abhishek Singh 15/2, 15/3.

(Under 13) Daina King made light work of Talia Fiedtkou winning the match by 9/0, 9/0, 9/0 margin, Dominique Dias got past Alanna Gonsalves 9/0, 9/0, 9/0, Kayla Jeffrey defeated Gabriella Xavier 9/2, 9/1, 7/9, 9/0, Keisha Jeffrey outlasted Talisa Williams 9/4, 9/4, 9/1.

(Under 15) Chelsea Fung made light work of Gabriella Xavier to win by a 9/0, 9/3, 9/0 margin, Rahul Singh defeated Troydon Decastro 10/9, 9/3, 9/3, Raphael DeGroot beat Javid Rahaman 9/4, 9/4, 9/5, Kristian Jeffrey defeated Rafael Lewis 9/0, 9/0, 9/1, Peter DeGroot brushed aside Joshua Jagdeo 9/0, 9/2, 9/0.

(Under 19) Ryan Braithwaite defeated Shane Samuels 3/9, 7/9, 9/5, 9/4, 9/6, Hubert Forester beat Nigel Backer 9/5, 9/6, 9/1 and Kristian Jeffrey defeated Randy Hope 9/0, 9/3, 9/0.
