The Guyana Conference of Seventh Day Adventists (GCSDA) has donated $100,000 to the Help and Shelter (H&S) organisation in recognition of its work against domestic violence and child abuse.

A press release said the donation came through GCSDA’s Humanitarian Programme and said that H&S had worked with the local SDA churches since its inception by participating in discussions and presentations with the Adventist Youth, their Family Life Education Programme and other fora.
