Rohee, Sawh, Ally elected to PPP secretariat

The PPP's central executive committee elected two government ministers and a permanent secretary to sit on its secretariat. The two ministers are Clement Rohee and Satyadeow Sawh and the Permanent Secretary is Hydar Ally.
The responsibilities of the various secretaries are Rohee - secretary for International Affairs; Sawh secretary for Non-governmental Organisations and Civil Society; Ally - secretary for Education; Robert Persaud - secretary for Public Relations and Youth Affairs; Ali Baksh - secretary for Mass Organisations; Komal Chand - secretary for Trades Unions; Indra Chandarpal - secretary for Women's Affairs and Ulric Ramannah - secretary for Organisation/ Member-ship. The secretaries are all members of the party's central committee, which elected them to the central executive committee.
