Following the theme that the only thing constant is change, the Guyana Lottery Company yesterday launched a new dimension to its Daily Millions game with the aim of enticing customers and spurring greater interest in the game.

The new production "Daily Millions Plus", according to the Company's General Manager, Tracey Lewis, is the result of striving for constant improvements to the quality of the company's product range as a way of renewing customer interest and ensuring greater satisfaction and gains.

According to Lewis, since the introduction of the Daily Millions game some two years ago there have been some 156 millionaires with sales topping $436 million and it is time to add a new dimension to the game via the introduction of additional prizes.

From today successful ticket holders could collect prizes apart from the regular cash prize that accompanies winning. Persons who have matched four numbers will now win $5,000 and in June can enter to win one of 25 food hamper vouchers valued $25,000 courtesy of Nigel's Supermarket. In July they are eligible to win one of ten motorcycles and in August one of 20 cellular telephones, once they fill up a coupon with their name address and telephone number.

Non-winning tickets during this period can also account for something as these could be placed in entry boxes located at agents for a chance to win a Honda CRV motor vehicle.

The changes the GM stated were as a result of a process of research and development. It was also announced that Miss Guyana World, Olive Gopaul, will be a hostess in the new Daily Millions Plus draw.

During the elaborate presentation to launch the new game a special cash prize draw was held for representatives of the media. Five successful winners received $20,000 each.
