Commissioner should review Target Squad

Dear Editor,

I read your article (22.l.02) titled "Residents allege police terror" and the first thought that came to mind is the Commissioner of Police should revisit the operations of the Target (Black Clothes) Squad. For too long, the citizens of this country have been terrorised, brutalised and executed by this section of the force and the government of the day seems not to be concerned.

The Target Squad operations are questionable and they seem not to be taking instructions from the police force. This can be clearly seen in the manner in which they conducted their operations in Buxton village last week.

Yours faithfully,

Grayson Samuels
