Guyana Airways 2000 (GA2000) has announced that the start-up date for its flight to Miami has been pushed back from October 29 to November 14.

At a press conference last month GA2000 had announced that it would have introduced its twice-a-week service to Miami on October 29.

The company's public relations firm, announcing the postponement in a statement to the press, did not give reasons for the delayed start-up. According to the statement, GA 2000 will offer a special fare of US$299 for passengers taking advantage of the first flight to Miami on November 14.

The company will also offer a choice of attractive specials to passengers travelling to Miami. These would include a "special weekend package", inclusive of accommodation and a "Christmas shoppers special" with GA2000 arranging special hotel rates among others.
