World Boxing Association welterweight champion Andrew `Sixhead' Lewis has chosen Eccles as the site for the house promised to by Government for winning Guyana's first world boxing title.

A Government information Services (GIS) press release stated yesterday that the plot of land is located at one of the Ministry of Housing's new schemes and a letter of allocation and other documents were presented to Lewis yesterday.

Housing Minister Shaik Baksh said that Lewis as presented a plan for the house which the ministry will soon construct.

The release stated that Lewis was taken on a tour last Saturday of three housing schemes at 5F Block Meadowbrook, Lot 76 AA Eccles and Lot 91 Section A-Block X Diamond to chose his lot.
