Guyanese international superstsar Eddy Grant A.A is back on the internal charts in the United Kingdom.

Grant was last on the UK top 75 album charts 13 years ago with the album File Under Rock which contained the hit single 'Gimme Hope Joanna'.

Grant has now topped artistes like Paul McCartney (of the Beatles), Billy Joel and Ronan Keating in the first week of entry on the UK top 75 album chart with an album called "The Greatest Hits". The top 5 selling albums in the United Kingdom this week were:

No. 1 Survivor/Destiny's Child
No. 2 No Angel/Dido
No. 3 Hot Shot/Shaggy
No. 4 The Greatest Hits/Eddy Grant (New)
No. 5 Wingspan - Hits and History/Paul McCartney (New)
Grant has had hits like 'Baby Come Back' with the equals in the late 60s and No.1 hits as a solo artiste like I Don't Wanna Dance and Electric Avenue. These and more hits are on the new album.

The song that has exploded in the UK on the album is a Ringbang Remix of the No. 1 song Electric Avenue and that will be released on 28th May on a CD single in the UK.
