Following a scheduled visit and tour of the Supreme Court on Wednesday by President Bharrat Jagdeo, the High Court and Magistrate's Court on Thursday benefited from six Internet-ready computers.

Four of the computers, according to a press release from the Office of the President on Thursday, "were allocated to judges for legal research and other purposes". The remaining two have been assigned to the magistracy for the purpose of "enhancing financial accountability."

Other issues brought to the fore during the President's visit are currently being addressed, the release disclosed.
