Splashmin's fun Park opens today

Members of the public will be able to enjoy the facilities of the Splashmin's Fun Park and Resort from today. A release from the parent company, Ashmin's Fun Park and Resort Inc said that it would open today to facilitate the thousands of Guyanese who use the Linden/Soesdyke Highway mainly at weekends for recreational purposes.

Work on the $600 million project began in 1997 and is being designed to meet the needs of the Guyanese public and foreign tourists in search of relaxation, enjoyment of Guyanese hospitality and the natural environment. It will provide employment for skilled and unskilled persons living along the Linden-Soesdyke Highway.
