Judas nominated in several categories Theatre Arts Awards Guyana Chronicle April 9, 2000 JUDAS, a play written by Ms Paloma Mohamed, has been nominated in several categories for the Theatre Arts Awards (TAA). The TAA is a group of volunteers who judge performances at the National Cultural Centre (NCC) and the Theatre Guild and make annual awards for the best performances. Winners will be announced and the awards presented at a small cocktail reception at the NCC on April 17 at 8 p.m. Judas was nominated for Best Production, Best Set, Best Guyanese Play and Best Director. Actor Francis Pearce was nominated in the Best Actor category for his role in Judas, while Jennifer Thomas was nominated in the Best Actress category for her role in the same play.
