Send the black clothes police after Osama bin Laden

Dear Editor,

I was following the terrorist attack on the United States from day one to the present time.

The Mail and Sunday Times newspapers of London, reported that the Special Air Service (SAS) troopers were in Northern Afghanistan working together with the British Secret Intelligence Service M16 and with the CIA to track down Osama bin Laden.

We here in the village of Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara, are mourning the death of 24 year old Allister Bowman well known as 'Alli.'

On Friday September 21, 2001, Alli was gunned down by the black clothes police. He was to be buried on Thursday, September 27, 2001.

Osama bin Laden is a bandit, he is a wanted man. I am appealing to President Bharrat Jagdeo to make special arrangements to have our Target Special Squad sent to Afghanistan to find this wanted man! `Alli' was not a wanted man.'

My deepest sympathy to the relatives and friends of the Bowman's.

God will look over your soul, rest in peace `Alli,' I will miss seeing you at the PSDA bus shed.

Yours faithfully

Courtney Jacobs
