Bouquets for Emile

Bouquets to Emile Mervin for his comments on "Letters to the Editor". His comments are right on target, and we hope that both papers will continue the good work. We have learnt a lot by the deep and insightful material by the various writers.

I was particularly impressed by the letter of Shahabudin McDoom, which should be required reading by all and sundry. It was a classic history lesson. I have one suggestion for the Editors. Some of the letters are way too long, and some of the material may be repetitive. Perhaps the Editors could exercise their editorial licence to shorten some of them so that more letters may be published.
